The School of Creative Arts (SOCA) at the University of Saint Francis presents a diverse group of artists, art historians and critics in its Closer Look Lecture Series. This series engages the Fort Wayne community and the tri-state region in the analysis of specific art forms and artists in a variety of mediums.

Closer Look Artist Lecture: Sue Walsh

Sue Walsh is the creative director at SYPartners, NYC and is faculty at School of Visual Arts. Previously, she worked with Milton Glaser for almost a decade and has had a continued independent practice for over 15 years. This lecture is sponsored by the American Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne.

Adam Green – Disney’s “Moana” Animator

The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts is hosting Disney animator and USF Alumni, Adam Green on Monday and Tuesday, March 27-28.
On Monday March 27, the community is invited to a free Closer Look Lecture at 7:30 p.m. in the USF North Campus Auditorium, 2701 Spring Street. Adam will be discussing his time at Disney and work animating for Disney’s Moana. Green is originally from Fort Wayne Indiana. A Graduate from the University of Saint Francis has been animating professionally for twelve years. Adam has been an animator on films like “Tangled”, “Wreck-It Ralph”, “Frozen”, and “Big Hero 6”. He was co-Head of Animation with Eric Goldberg on the Disney short “Get a Horse”. He has just finished as a Supervising Animator on the Disney film “Moana” and is currently working on “Wreck-It Ralph 2”.  He currently lives in Santa Clarita, CA with his wife Kristi and daughter Aubrey.

“Moana” Free Screening of Disney’s Recent Animated Hit

The public is also invited to a special screening of the Disney film “Moana” on March 28 at 7 p.m., with animator Green presenting a question and answer period afterward. The free screening event will be in the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry Street. Complimentary parking is available across Berry Street in the University of Saint Francis lot.
