At the University of Saint Francis, our focus is on you and your education. The School of Creative Arts (SOCA) at USF offers several concentrations to allow you to shape your Bachelor of Arts in Communication specifically for the future you desire.
- The film, video and media concentration will help you develop your creative visual storytelling abilities for developing media and changing audiences.
- Public relations and organizational communication concentrations will prepare you to become a creative professional communicator for changing and diverse publics.
- The theatre concentration will teach you to engage changing and diverse audience members as a creative theatre professional.
In addition to shaping your studies through your concentration selection, you can also add a minor, or secondary focus area, in Marketing, Speech, Theatre, Environmental Science or Social Work. You will enhance your portfolio with additional training in and exposure to graphic design, web design and computer art. Small classes, hands-on learning and a real-world project approach will immerse you in the professional communication fields.
SOCA’s student clubs provide additional professional experience, depending on your concentration:
Learn. Practice. Lead. Succeed!
